Beacon sees Texas, and more specifically Houston, as a key business market offering the potential for solid growth. Veteran Steve Fenton will oversee the overall management of the Houston office, with Leslie Qualls heading up the recruiting team. Beacon cofounder Chuck Swanson, a partner with Ernst and Young in Texas for seven years, is excited to work with past clients and his Houston network. Recently, Beacon has had several clients and relationships move to Houston either through expansion or relocation.

Qualls previously headed up recruiting for Price Waterhouse in Houston and was recognized as a top recruiter with a national firm specializing in placing financial and accounting professionals at the middle and executive levels. Fenton started up the national financial and accounting division for a billion-dollar, publically-traded staffing firm, which went on to be one of the top growing divisions in the company during his tenure. Fenton and Qualls are both high performing professionals with a commitment to excellence and deep relationships throughout Texas. As Beacon grows in Houston, as well as other cities in Texas, they will both play key roles in the growth of the Beacon team.
