Beacon Resources Recognized for Another Year of Exceptional Growth by OCBJ
IRVINE, California (January 15, 2013) – Beacon Resources, a staffing and recruiting firm focused on providing mission critical services to the Office of the CFO, has been nominated by the Orange County Business Journal as one of 2014’s Fastest Growing Companies in Orange County.
Mike Kelly and Colleen Freeman started Beacon Resources in 2010 during the depths of the recession. These accounting and financial veterans, coming from different backgrounds as well as industries, realized there was a need in the market that was not being met. While demand from clients for human capital hires was cut in half from the highs of 2007, the level of service clients needed for hard to fill roles escalated sharply. Additionally, pent up demand for “just in time” accounting guidance required accounting SWAT teams that could parachute in to tackle complex accounting issues on a variable basis.
Their approach, coupled with the quality of the professionals they place, resulted in exponential growth for the firm.
