IRVINE, California (March 22, 2013) – The founders of Beacon Resources, a leading advisory and recruiting firm focused on providing mission critical services to the Office of the CFO, have been nominated by the Orange County Business Journal as Entrepreneurs of the Year.
Mike Kelly, Chuck Swanson and Colleen Freeman started Beacon Resources in 2010 in the depths of the recession. These accounting and financial veterans, coming from different backgrounds as well as industries, realized there was a need in the market that was not being met. While demand from clients for human capital hires was cut in half from the highs of 2007, the level of service clients needed for hard to fill roles escalated sharply.
